Overview

Farbod Farnia is a trial and appellate lawyer with eight years of experience representing large corporations and small businesses in complex litigation and appeals. He has represented clients in matters before the Texas Supreme Court and nearly every intermediate court of appeals in Texas, the Federal Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuits, as well as courts of appeals in New York and Oklahoma.

Farbod believes that a deep and thorough command of the facts and law of a case are vital to a client’s success before any tribunal. He also prides himself on his ability to speak the language of judges, to know how they think, and to understand what guides them in the decision-making process.

Throughout his law practice, Farbod has earned numerous accolades, including being selected as a SuperLawyers Rising Star in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. His peers also selected him as one of D Magazine’s Best Lawyers in Dallas in 2018.

Farbod is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in English. In 2011, Farbod graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was a senior editor of the SMU Law Review and the Chair of the Board of Advocates. Upon graduation, Farbod was inducted into the National Order of Barristers.

Admitted to practice in all Texas state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th and 11th Circuits, Farbod enjoys his time away from the office playing poker, watching college football, and being with his fiancée.
